1L's Amazing Work!

Hi 1L,

This is a place to share some of the amazing work you have been doing at home. If you want to show your work on here, get an adult in your family to take a photo of it and send it to our class email address below!

Our first piece of work today came from Sophie who wanted to share some of her work from last week! She drew a wonderful picture of her animal 'Hanteea!' I love how you wrote that it makes the sound "Ka ka ka!" I can really hear the sound when I read it! Sophie did lots of lovely writing last week and is very precise with her full stops and capital letters. I can see question marks and exclamation marks too - very impressive Sophie!

Sophie has also been working through her daily Read, Write Inc lessons online. Have you been doing yours too?

Also, check out her amazing Road Safety and counting in 2s posters - I love how colourful they are!

We've had another batch of work sent in - this time from Thor! Lovely to hear from you! I love your picture of your animal and your brilliant story - I saw so many WOW words such as 'decided,' 'noticed,' and 'creepy' well done!

Thor has also been working really hard on Education City with lots of 100% scores! I love your road safety sign and road map too Thor - very informative!

We've had some more lovely work sent in from Robyn this week, she wanted to share her counting in 5s maze and counting in 2s sheep - great counting Robyn!

Robyn also loved our topic work this week and wanted to share her amazing car and road safety poster with all of us! The car is a convertible and Robyn has paid such attention to detail with the lights, stereo, steering wheel and license plates too. I bet your bear loves driving around in that Robyn - amazing work!

Robyn has sent in even more work this week. Check out her colourful counting posters! She has  also sent in a beautiful road map with a clever key to let us know where the key features are!
Even more lovely work from Robyn - what a fantastic alien you made! Did they get to try some of those delicious biscuits? Please bring some in when school starts again! Mmmm!

We've had some more lovely work sent in from Erin this week. Erin thought that she needed to practice her money work this week and has been practicing adding with coins - great independent learning Erin!

Erin has also really enjoyed our Topic this week and produced some amazing work! Take a look at her colourful transport map and road safety poster. It looks like she saw lots of different kinds of transport on her walk!

Also, what a snazzy car Erin - I love how you used tin foil to cover it - it looks like it could be from the future!

Erin's mum also sent in a lovely piece of writing from Erin. It's a recount of a very exciting trip to see her Nanny! What lovely writing Erin - I'm sure the rest of the class will enjoy it as much as I did!
Erin had a great solution when she couldn't print off Thursday's Maths activity sheet. She drew the answers on the computer screen using the mouse - very clever Erin!
