Spring Term in 5/6W

It has been a very busy half term in 5/6W. We began the new year with a Science week and learnt how the circulation system works. We are also learning about the Ancient Mayans and have compared our lives with Mayans and what we have learnt from them. In English we are working on developing our use of figurative language and using a range of grammar techniques to improve our writing. In maths we are developing our knowledge of written multiplication and division methods and understand how to multiply and divide fractions.

World Book Day 2020

On Thursday 5th March it was world book day. We started the day discussing our favourite books. Our activities in the morning were linked to our book we have been reading in English ‘Cloud Tea Monkeys’. We created our own wanted posters for a new apprentice Tea Taster. We then tasted our own teas!
