Editing our narrative writing.

Have with you: your plan, the beginning and ending sentences of each paragraph and your narrative.

Read your narrative aloud.  Does it make sense?  Does it flow?  Is there any paragraph that is weaker? Why?
Pick out sentence openers.  Do you overuse any?  Change those overused? Change the order? Try to join sentences starting with the same word - our example using 'It.'
Look at the first and last sentences of each paragraph.  Do they link, especially last sentence to first of next paragraph?
Look at muddled sentences.  Do they need to be re-ordered?  Do they need to be split into 2 or 3 sentences.  Think about our examples.
Do you need to add more detail to some parts of your narrative?
