In our third lesson on rhythm and pulse, you will review the term 'improvise' and return to the song 'Step Back Baby' to improvise and create a rhythmic backing. You will learn a new 'call and response' song from Ghana and complete a quiz.

 

Key vocabulary

 

Rhythm- refers to the length of time between each major "beat"

Pulse -is a steady beat like a ticking clock or your heartbeat.
