Maths

During the first half term we focused on four key facets of Maths. These were:

• Place value
• Addition and subtraction
• Measures and data
• Multiplication and division.

For each subject children attempt a 'Chilli challenge!'

The more Chili's the spicier the question (harder).

Each lesson children have the opportunity to show they understand a concept through:

Chilli 1- Fluency questions

Chilli 2- Reasoning questions

Chilli 3- Problem solving.

This approach challenges 4M to think deeper about concepts such as Multiplication and Division, as well as giving them a platform to show off their understanding!
