Listen to this story read my Mrs Ragucci then discuss the questions below with someone in your house. 

• Vocabulary- what do you notice about the word cat and hat? Which other rhyming words can you hear?
• Infer- how do you think the children felt when the cat in the hat arrived?
• Predict- do you think the cat in the hat ever came back to their house?
• Explain- would you like to spend time with Cat in the Hat? Why?
• Retrieve- What did Cat in the Hat do to the fish?
