RK Summer Term 2019
We have been so busy during the first half of the summer term.
In Maths we have been working hard - making patterns, using positional language, adding, subtracting, saying 1 more and 1 less to 20 and halving.
In Read Write Inc we have continued to work hard in our groups and have been very impressed by the level of progression this year.
Our topic was mini-beasts and and we learnt lots about different mini-beasts, their habitats and life cycles. As part of this learning we visited Africa Alive and met African land snails, millipedes and cockroaches close up. Whilst we were there we had the opportunity to learn lots about the different animals found in Africa. Have a look at some of our photographs.
The second half of the summer term will see us all getting ready for Year 1, with transition days where the children will meet their new class teachers.
