Task 3- The physical Geography of Italy

1. Italy has a number of volcanoes- some more active than others.  Find out the heights of the three biggest ones HERE.  Which three Italian volcanoes have erupted most recently?
2. Mount Etna has been erupting for a very long time.  Create a factfile on Mount Etna including information about the effects of its most violent eruption, why it has been erupting for such a long time, and why people continue to live there. (Why would people choose to live near an active, dangerous volcano?
