First, remind yourself of the story of The Fifth Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor. Read this version below. Is it the same as the video version we listened to on Monday and Tuesday or different? 

Task 2: Now for some writing  

 Choose on of these Sinbad illustrations above

Your challenge is to write what would happen in the story before the picture, what is happening in the picture and what happens next. Remember to include conjunctions (so, while, but, although, even though) and prepositions (below, during, since, between, before, above, since)

Task 2: Using the outline map of Brazil, printed if possible or just copied out carefully, show where the following places/features are found:

1. The capital city (and name it)
2. Two mountains (and name them)
3. Two beaches (and name them)
4. Two rivers (and name them)
5. A rainforest (and name it)
6. Where hotter, drier weather is found
7. Where humid, sticky weather is found
8. A sparsely populated region (and reasons why)
9. A densely populated region (and reasons why)

Challenge:

• Find out which countries share a border with Brazil.
• Write one fact about the physical geography of each of those countries.
