Mathematics:
This week, in school, we are looking at area and perimeter. I know, it's MY favourite, too! As ever, we are starting off with some revision (as it seems some facts may have fallen out of your heads) and then we shall be progressing forwards. To start, we are examining how to calculate the area and perimeter of compound shapes - Jake especially enjoyed these and he wanted me to share that with you all. The video below will help recap the basics for you, we can work through some examples of these before we move forward to more challenging examples. Have LOTS of fun!
Finally, HUGE shoutout and a 'Bravo' from me to Zaynab - your work has been consistently amazing. Keep it up! :) :) :)
