This week was Christmas Week!
We started the week with reading "Coming Home" by Michael Morpurgo. We used this story for inspiration for newspaper reports. We also completed a D&T project involving mechanisms.
We created story maps for the story Coming Home by Michael Morpurgo
Our D&T challenge was to create a moving mechanical toy using cams
For our Topic Exit point we created our own Newspaper front cover stories
We worked in our groups to decide on our newspaper company name, followed by headline and the main story. We then wrote our own interview questions and learnt how to use reported speech.
