Talk For Writing

Monday to Thursday:

Read through the text above with your child every day and practice retelling it to each other. Can your child answer questions about the sequence of the instructions? What happens first? Next? After That?

Can they have a go at writing some sentences from the story?

e.g. First, Sophie and her Mummy were having tea at the table.

Next, there was a knock at the door!

Friday:

Can you rewrite the story of the tiger who came to tea? Use the picture sequence below and the vocabulary sheets above to help you.
