PE

 

 

We provide a broad and varied PE curriculum relating to games, gymnastics, dance, swimming, athletics, outdoor and adventurous activities. Children have opportunity to develop a range of social experiences by competing and co-operating both within lessons and borough wide competitions.

 

At Handford Hall pupils love sport! They enjoy all our PE sessions, playing games at break and lunch times and taking part in after-school clubs (timetable on the homepage). 

 

We are members of the Suffolk School Games and Ipswich Primary School Sports Association. These memberships allow us to participate in an array of inter-school competitions. Keep an eye-out on our website for pictures and updates from our football, netball, rounders, cross-country and many other teams.

 

House Teams

In the academic year 2016/17, house teams were introduced at Handford Hall. Check out our house team page to find out about our houses and to see who is winning.

 

Here is the Success Criteria we have to follow to be in for a chance to gain points for your house team!

 

• I am always ready for P.E. with the correct kit                              
• I always join in and listen carefully
• I always act safely
• I enjoy winning but can accept losing graciously
• I can be a team player
