School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

Our motto: A –Ambition, B –Believe in yourself, C -Celebrate

'Working together to provide success to all’

This is a pupils committee made up of representatives from Reception upwards.  We have one representative from each class, and classes vote for a new School Council member once a year (in September).

The successful candidates must have the following attributes: responsibility, honesty, reliability, eager to learn and must also be able to remain unbiased in their quest to improve our school.

The School Council meets every month with Mrs Cabras, when we discuss ideas for improving our school.  The meetings are held in the Deben room and run by the Year 6 members of the School Council who act as Chair and Vice-Chair.

Each School Council member reports back to their class meeting, and also brings ideas from the children to the next meeting.
