EAL for Teaching Assistants

This course aims to provide Teaching Assistants with the skills and knowledge they need to support EAL pupils.  It covers the welcoming of new pupils (HH induction and transition protocols) and helping them adjust to the new school environment. It has a key focus on how to help pupils to learn in English as well as support their independence and resilience. 

The course will involve visit to classrooms to observe teaching and learning. 

Half a day - £ 50
