4M Autumn Term 2019

We have made a fantastic start to year 4!

The Stone Age- Scavengers and Settlers

This half term we have been learning about 'Scavengers and Settlers'.

4M went to Rendlesham Forest to discover what it might have been like to live in the Stone Age period in history! 

We pretended to be hunters and gatherers having to make shelters to live in and hunting for our own food supply. Below is a video of our adventure!

In English we have been reading 'How To Train Your Dragon!'

4M have been writing their own fantasy stories linked with the books and created our own characters. 

As part of one of our homework tasks 4M also designed their own dragon fact files!

Maths

This half term we have focused on 4 key areas in maths.

• Place value
• Additions and Subtractions.
• Measures and data- Telling the time
• Multiplication and Division

4M have also been practicing our times tables- see below for some key websites so you can learn at home!

Our school council representative. 

On the 19th of November 2019, 6 members of our class took part Ipswich Town Football Club's girls tournament. We play 7 games against school from across Ipswich and Felixstowe and had lots of fun!
