Understanding call and response in Samba music

In this lesson, you will be looking at Samba music and layering different rhythms over the top of each other. You will learn a new call and response song and carry on improvising in different ways; learning tips and tricks; with songs and pieces of music.

 

Key vocabulary

 

Rhythm- refers to the length of time between each major "beat"

Pulse -is a steady beat like a ticking clock or your heartbeat.
