World War 2 has been the focus of our topic this half term. It has been a fascinating and deeply moving subject to explore together. Whilst it is an ENORMOUS area of study, we have looked at:

• The rise to power of Hitler, and the varied reasons behind his ascent
• The Geography and changing borders in Europe
• The local and national impact of the Blitz in Britain
• The Battle of Britain
• The ministry of information, the Home Front and wartime Propaganda

The Holocaust - the events leading up to it and the terrible, yet vital, lessons we must learn from these events of the past

We have created some incredible writing, maps, posters and discussions - The class have really taken to this topic and it's been a pleasure to share the journey with them.
